Your Movie Suggestions

If you can’t find a movie here that you think is worth listing as fun, suggest it here and I will add it.

Make sure it meets these criteria:

  • It must be fun.
  • It must have a satisfying ending.
  • The good guys must win.
  • It should be a movie you would watch again (if it is a movie you find yourself watching year after year, that would qualify).

If you feel like writing a short review (about why it is fun), feel free to include it and I will try to put that in as well.

Feel free to add more reasons why the existing listed movies are fun as well.

  1. I think that Yellowbeard (1983) is a must have in the Pirate section! It is a really fun action adventure pirate parody with a very Mel Brooks feel to it. The cast contains Cheech and Chong, Monty Python members, and a lot of Mel Brooks usuals. It’s is so much fun!

    1. Thanks for that suggestion Jill. I did see Yellowbeard when I was a kid, but I can’t remember much of it. I will see if I can find it and watch it again.
      Regards,
      Michael

  2. It seems like most movies these days are just remakes of movies that have been played out over and over again with predictable plots! I would love to see Dean Koontz book “Odd Thomas” made in to a movie, its completely original and is not what you would expect to happen, its a total surprise! Robert Pattinson would make the perfect Odd Thomas and Jennifer Lawrence would make a great Stormy Lewellen, Odds girlfriend!

  5. I love the list and the site but i have a few sugestions:
What if the list had an option to seperate out “family friendly” movies for easier sorting.
And a few important non family friendly movie are
    Zombieland (2009)
Starring: Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, and Woody Harrelson
    The Dark Knight (2008)
Starring: Christian Bale, Heath Ledger, and Aaron Eckhart
    Hot Fuzz (2007)
Stars:Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and Martin Freeman
and not to add to many zombie movies but
    Shawn of the Dead
Stars: Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and Martin Freeman

    Enjoy!

  7. Hey Michael!
Great website!! It is missing one very vital movie though…the Wedding Crashers! I think my husband Terry has watched it at least 20 times and laugh as hard every time he sees it….

    Cheers,
