Get Smart’s Bruce and Lloyd Out of Control
The Get Smart world from the perspective of two lab techs. This is a completely different story which can be enjoyed even without seeing Get Smart. This is a spinoff from the main movie. Perhaps not as good as Get Smart, but still enjoyable. Year: 2008
Real Genius
The fun had at a school for geniuses A fun 80’s teen movie, full of one liners and gags. Great for those who like 80’s movies. Suitable for mid teenagers and up. There are a few sex references, though no nudity or gross humour. Year: 1985
Cars
In a world made of talking cars, a young racing car yearns to win the championship race. A great movie with plenty of humour, lots of action on screen for the kids, and still enjoyable for adults. Another great production from Pixar. Year: 2006
Camp Rock
In the style of High School Musical. A girl goes to a summer music camp and has to deal with being the cook’s daughter while still trying to fit in. Light Disney entertainment. Targeted at older children and young teens. Year: 2008
Men At Work
Two garbage collectors discover a murder and try to solve it. This is a mix of comedy and action. Plenty of humour. It also shows that attitude can make any job fun. Year: 1990
Curious George
George is a monkey that is perpetually curious. A fun movie based on the famous children’s stories. Plenty of simple adventure, and lots of laughs. Perfect for young children. Year: 2006
50 First Dates
Just as good as “The Wedding Singer”, Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore make a great match in this romantic comedy. Great laugh out loud scenes, great scenery in Hawaii, fun premise (every date is a first date for a girl with amnesia). If you want a good romantic comedy, this is it. Year: 2004
Twins
An early Arnie comedy. A near perfect man searches for his twin brother, who is anything but perfect. A light comedy with plenty of laughs and lots of fun. Year: 1988
